scope

With this data protection declaration, users receive information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data that is collected and used by the responsible provider.

The Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG) form the legal framework for data protection.

Collection of general information

Each time this website is accessed, information is automatically collected by the web space provider. This information, also known as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

Among other things, the following are recorded: name of the website, file, date, amount of data, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed my blog) and the IP address.

Without this data it would not be technically possible to display the content of the website. In this respect, the collection of the data is absolutely necessary. In addition, the anonymous information is used for statistical purposes. They help to optimize the offer and the technology. I also reserve the right to retrospectively check the log files if there is any suspicion of illegal use of my website.

Comment function

If comments or other contributions are written and published on this website, the IP address, the user name and the time of creation are recorded. This data is collected for security reasons, as the operator can be prosecuted for illegal content (forbidden propaganda, insults, etc.), even if they were created by a third party. In such a case, the information is used to identify the author.

contact form

If you contact the website operator by email, the information you provide will be saved in order to be able to answer your request and to be able to ask any follow-up questions.

Cookies

The website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer by the server. They contain information about the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the Internet connection. This data is not passed on to third parties by the website operator or linked to personal data without your consent.

Cookies have two main functions. They help me to make it easier for you to navigate through my website and enable the website to be displayed correctly. They are not used to smuggle in viruses or start programs.

Users have the option of accessing my website without cookies. To do this, the relevant settings must be changed in the browser. Please use the help function of your browser to find out how cookies are deactivated. However, I would like to point out that this may impair some functions of this website and limit the convenience of use. The pages http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (USA) and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ (Europe) allow you to manage online ad cookies .

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, I would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this blog page to their full extent.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: Browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics .

You can find more information on terms of use and data protection at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/ .

If connections from this website to SOCIAL-MEDIA are established in the future, the following must be observed:

Facebook social plug-in

The website operator offers plug-ins from the social network Facebook (address: 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) on its website. You can recognize the plug-ins - you can find an overview here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/Plug-ins/ - by the Like button or by the Facebook logo.

If you call up my page with the Facebook plug-in, a direct connection with Facebook is established. The blog operator has no influence on the type and scope of the data that Facebook collects, stores and processes. He can only inform you according to his level of knowledge.

Facebook is informed via the plug-in that you have accessed the relevant operator's page. This also applies to users who are not registered on Facebook. In this case, there is the possibility that Facebook will save the IP address.

If you are a member of Facebook and logged in, calling up a page with a Facebook plug-in can be clearly assigned to your Facebook user account. In addition, the plug-ins transmit all interactions, for example if you use the Like button or leave a comment.

To prevent Facebook from storing data about you, please log out of Facebook before visiting the website. You can also block the plug-ins with add-ons for the browser (for example “Facebook Blocker”).

Information on data protection regulations, the purpose and scope of data collection and data processing as well as the setting options for protecting privacy on Facebook can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.php.
